We have five family values. One of them is adventure.
We lost our passports on the way to the airport.
We were exhausted after two weeks of travel. Our flight home left in two hours, and our passports had just... vanished. In that moment, we had a choice: Would we panic or would we embrace adventure?
We leaned into a word we'd claimed defined our family. In that moment and over the next 24 hours, we embraced adventure. We crisscrossed the city. We closed down the Embassy. We filed police reports. We fell asleep to the sound of trains. We barely made our flight home. A year later, it's all we talk about.
